Im using tile mode with upper-/lowercase letters and Numbers (label_symbols=1qQaAyY2wWsSxX3eEdDcC4rRfFvV5).
When i select a lowercase letter eg. (e) and then press shift to select an uppercase letter it will select ee. When i then press backspace to select e again i can select any uppercase letter, because shift wont produce the input.
This happens when theres 2 and 3 letters, but when there would be a field labeled aaa pressing a > shift will select (aa)a not (aaa).
Im not sure if its intended or not, but if it is it would be nice to have a way to adjust the behaviour of the shift key.
You should be able to answer the following questions:
- How to reproduce the bug?
- use uppercase letters as label symbols (for tile mode at least)
- run the program in tile mode
- select lowercase letter
- press shift
- What is going wrong?
The shift key produces input depending on the lowercase letter selected (copies it i guess)
- What is the expected behaviour?
The Shift key shouldnt produce input
It is helpful to provide screenshots and screencasts.
Then give the following information:

** OS
cachyos with Linux 6.19.8-arch1-1 kernel
** display
