I flashed the binary to a D1 Mini and was able to configure Wifi & MQTT. Mosquitto shows a new connection from the ESP.
But, I get no messsages (not even the "welcome"). On serial console, I only receive garbage after reset:

I flashed through esptool on windows. What's wrong? I have not yet placed it on the smart meter, but I should be able to receive at least the MQTT welcome, right? Something seems to be wrong.
