Wanted to follow up where and acknowledge that I saw your issue. I'll look into what I can do with the Japanese version and how feasible it is to offer a recompilation for that one as well once I have some availability.

I dug into this a bit.

Short: Answer, it's doable -- but I'm going to put this on hold for right now.

Since the game is being done via recompilation, a fair amount of discovery and offsets are done through gameplay and QA. The Japanese version gets the benefit of the engine being the same, but coverage and function offsets are not, meaning there's a lot of work that needs to be done ground up to get it to parity.

I'd like to ensure a bit more stability and enhancement on the North American version before looking into other regions. With that said, I would welcome a community PR that focuses on this, should one become available.
