Japanese version

Is it within the scope of this project to add support for the Japanese version?

Hello! At present, it isn't currently in scope as I'm hoping to pivot focus towards the audio inaccuracies (and perhaps widescreen investigation).

With that said, it isn't out of the realm of possibility. As the project matures, I would like to try and support other variants of the game as well. I am always happy to accept PRs if someone else is able to assist on that front, though!

Hello! Following up, I had some very good luck on audio fixes recently. I had some spare cycles, so I went ahead and took a pass at Rockman X's build. I was able to get it to stand up initially. Still experimental, but please let me know how it goes!

There's a Windows release and also an experimental AppImage if you'd like to try it on Linux. Please let me know how it is!

Linux Appimage: Rockman X 1.1(rev1); Auto state load from priorly saved state at title screen led to black screen with no way to advance.

Save states are not expected to be fully supported and definitely won't translate across revisions.

Are you experiencing issues in normal play too, or just with save states?

No issues with normal play.

I'll see what I can do to make save states more stable within a single version. Will follow up here if I'm able to make any progress vs not.
