Thanks for the report. I traced this against the adaptive widescreen and room/portal visibility paths, and this may be related to #18 rather than being a texture-cache issue.

Could you try one controlled comparison at the exact same camera position with Adaptive Widescreen enabled?

1. Compute renderer
2. Software renderer

Please check whether the same door disappears in both.

If it disappears in both renderers, that would strongly suggest the door is being culled by the game's own room/portal visibility logic before it reaches the renderer. If it only happens with the compute renderer, then the renderer path needs a closer look instead.

Also, if possible, let me know whether the missing door is outside the central native DS-width portion of the image and only visible because of the widened view.

A short capture or two screenshots from the same camera position would be very useful.
