Thank you for your work ! Could you please make a tab in the interface that displays the config.yaml configuration file, so that it can be changed directly in the interface for quick configuration changes?

Thanks for the request @dvorfvoldatran-wq. A few thoughts:

1. Settings already covers most config.yaml surface. The Settings panel (gear icon → Settings) exposes provider configuration, model selection, profile management, workspace registration, appearance, and many other ~/.hermes/config.yaml fields through structured forms — those are the safer path because they validate input and trigger the right cache invalidations.

2. Direct YAML editing is risky. config.yaml is parsed by hermes-agent on every restart, and a typo (bad indent, missing colon, wrong type) can brick the agent. A raw editor in the WebUI would need: (a) a YAML schema validator, (b) a "test before save" dry-run that loads the candidate config in a sandbox, and (c) a rollback path if the new config doesn't boot. That's a real engineering surface, not just a textarea.

3. The narrower ask is reasonable. If the gap is "I want to tweak a specific field that Settings doesn't expose" — please reply with the specific field(s) you're trying to edit. That's much more tractable as targeted Settings additions than a free-form YAML editor. The Settings panel is the natural extension point.
