NetAlert + Pi-hole Plugin Error

Hi,
I started a fresh install based on the latest release v25.11.29 where I encountered an issue when using the Pi-hole plugin.

[Plugins] ⚠ ERROR: DB_PATH setting (/etc/pihole/pihole-FTL.db) for plugin PIHOLE. Did you mount it correctly?
[Plugins] ⚠ ERROR: ATTACH DATABASE failed with SQL ERROR: unable to open database: /etc/pihole/pihole-FTL.db

It appears, I can for sure be wrong, that due to the file permissions of the pihole-FTL.db then NetAlertX could not read the database.
Anyone having the same error?

I haven't tested this, but you could try to use the PIHOLEAPI plugin instead. I will try to test this later if I have time. I assume you woudl have to add the 20211 user rw permissions on the DB file. and do chmod a+rwx on it.

should this be added to the general setup instructions or is it only my installation that sees this issue, could/should this be added to the Pi-hole plugin or?

Happy to add into pihole instructions - can you write up a paragraph? e.g. what is the group 1001 ? is it owning the pihole files? Please add as much context as possible 🙏

My son told me to use Typora for the writeup, but maybe a word doc is better - or?
