You have to un-select it from all devices, then an option will disappear. That applies for Group, Owner, Icon, Location fields. For the Type field - You can specify the list of Network device types in the |

For the Type field - You can specify the list of Network device types in the
NETWORK_DEVICE_TYPESsetting. Others are populated by default and can't be removed from the Type dropdown..
