The "Can Sleep" option does not work

Is there an existing issue for this?

• I have searched the existing open and closed issues and I checked the docs https://docs.netalertx.com/

The issue occurs in the following browsers. Select at least 2.

• Firefox
• Chrome
• Edge
• Safari (unsupported) - PRs welcome
• N/A - This is an issue with the backend

Current Behavior

When I enable "Can Sleep" on device's page, it's status is "Offline" when it sleeps:

Expected Behavior

Offline device's status with "Can Sleep" should appear as "Sleeping".

Hi,

The sleep status switches to off-line after the sleep interval defined in the NTFPRCS_sleep_time setting is exceeded.

Please let me know how to make this more obvious in the field description (clicking the i in the device details shows it) to prevent questions like this in the future.

sorry, this was my mistake by not reading the docs/hint.

The fact is that various devices could have various sleep windows - so one global window is not sufficient for sleeping assumption.

For example - temperature sensors has different sleepings than presence sensors or printers.

Better for understanding and for functionality could be a setting sleep window per device separately.

Please add more info into a new feature request. Consider also per device type global sleep settings and other edge cases.
