Read me Does not render Emojis

Description

The README tab does not render emojis within the nr1 github application

Steps to Reproduce

1. Set the repository url to https://github.com/newrelic/docs-website
2. Swap to the README tab
3. Notice that the emojis show up as odd text artifacts or random characters
   Example:

Expected Behaviour

The emojis should be rendered correctly, see screenshot below.

These render fine for me in the README file what browser are you seeing this in @aswanson-nr

@jpvajda This is specifically the README rendered by the NR1-Github application. I'm pretty sure we saw the issue on the chrome browser, @LizBaker is that correct?

@aswanson-nr oh ok, the screen shots are for the docs site but you mean within the app they don't render, got it! Sorry I'll move it back to that project repo
