cannot format 'tex'-files

when i run which latexindent.pl it prints /usr/local/bin/latexindent.pl, thus I guess the latexindent.pl is correctly installed.
But when I use it to format document of .tex, it throw out errors, as shown in the pic.

My system os is MacOS and the version of latex-formatter plugin is v1.0.5
