No common interest function added in api

This is a duplicate of #3 but I never answered that.

This API is quite old and I'm probably not going to maintain it. Sorry. What's in the API is what's there, and if it breaks, it breaks.

One day I might want to write a new one, but for now, this was just an experiment to see if it'd work.

I have just implemented interest capability on my forked version of this project, if anyone needed it, or wanted to see how it could be added.
