connection ip & port

Would you know the default port for the CP-20?
Setup of the ControlPlus offers 10001 as the port when setting up a new site

I am documenting my findings... I still can't get a connection from ControlPlus to my CP-20

I tried setting a static IP on the alarm panel.
Immediately it selected port 20202.
Still not able to make connection on this new port.

Hi Derek,
When I tried changing my IP either through the panel itself or by assigning a fixed IP in the router I couldn’t find a way to force it to apply the setting, ie via a restart. I ended up leaving it overnight and the setting seemed to take effect by the morning.
From what I have seen/read the typical default ports are either 10001, 10101 or 20202. You should be able to see the port in use in the network settings or network tests screen on the control panel. I’m not at home right now to find the exact menu path but I will add this to the documentation next time I do an update.
