Jailbroken version of the Loomo Mobile App possible?

Just wondering if there is any info on regaining some of the functions from the mobile companion app once that fully shuts down? Most importantly the remote control and block coding function.
It is currently in stage 1 of shut down, no longer availiable for apple app store/google play, no longer allow registration, but my exisiting and binded account is still logging in and connecting to loomo fine. I envision that won't last any longer.
Any plan/idea on a "custom" version of the android mobile app that might work with the rooted firmware? Or is the only solution to write our own of what is remains of locomotion API.

It's my understanding that as long as you are still logged into the mobile app, you will be able to continue to use it with your Loomo. The only part of the mobile app that relies on Segway's servers is the login page which creates a barrier for those who have not already logged into the mobile app prior to the shutdown.

There's a possibility someone could decompile the mobile app --> take out the login page parts --> recompile it back together again.

An easier plan may be to just make a new mobile phone app (and app that it would talk to on Loomo's side) and re-implement some of the same features like remote control, speech, flash light, etc. all of which would be possible to recreate using the Loomo SDK and some Android dev work.

I may at some point in the future, if time allows, attempt the latter.

Using Codex, I patched the Loomo app so it can connect to Loomo and use all features without logging in. After basic testing, it appears to work well. Sharing it with everyone👇
