detect_off_topic: command not found

Hi!

After I installed the package by using the command "pip install otmt --user" (I have to use the user flag as I am using a sever with multiple users), I get the error: "detect_off_topic: command not found" by using the command: "detect_off_topic -i archiveit=7877 -o outputfile.csv -ot csv".

Did I do something wrong?

I hope you got this resolved. I'm providing this comment in case you need it.

I typically run OTMT inside a virtualenv rather than doing a user install. When installing any Python package, it is preferable to use a virtualenv rather than doing a --user install. If you have multiple Python projects, their library dependencies can interfere with one another with a --user install, whereas creating separate virtualenvs for each project avoids this issue.

Here's what I recommend:

1. create a working directory: mkdir otmt-clean
2. create a virtualenv: virtualenv otmt-clean-venv
3. start the virtualenv: source ./otmt-clean-venv/bin/activate
4. install the OTMT: pip install otmt

After this, type which detect_off_topic to see that the command is in your path and you can execute it.
