Summary

Many models output math in KaTeX/LaTeX form. It would help if this were parsed and displayed correctly.

Problem / Motivation

AI constantly uses KaTeX and negative prompting rarely works to suppress it.

Proposed Solution

Add a lazy loaded KaTeX renderer.

If you are looking to support LaTeX/KaTeX rendering in a mobile AI application, using KaTeX or MathJax introduces huge bundle sizes (up to hundreds of kilobytes of JS/CSS/fonts), which significantly slows down mobile app startup and consumes precious RAM/CPU.

Here is how it compares:

• Size: Only 3.58 KB Gzipped, zero dependencies. Compare this to KaTeX (~75 KB) or MathJax (~278 KB).
• Speed: ~329,000 ops/s (about 3.6x faster than KaTeX / 48x faster than MathJax).

Because it compiles LaTeX directly into browser-native <math> (MathML Core) tags, it delegates all layout and rendering work to the browser's native C++ engine. This means you ship almost zero JS to your mobile users, leading to instant rendering and minimal memory footprint, which is perfect for local mobile AI apps.
