You are using the port 8081 as default for the addon/app.

But this is the default port for the Thread API, which is n original HA integration.
So please switch to another default port.

@achims311 ... in short, correct, and not checked at the start of the project (started without native HA app) – and apparently the same applies to many other applications ;-)

Which standard port would be preferable?

as @HolBaum5 says - the port used is easily changeable - but it's also true that it would be easier for beginners without the change.
