Ability to run in headless mode and use phone as the monitor

You can drop the need for such a powerful pi and monitor if you removed chromium and connect phone directly to the pi WiFi

If you were running the pi in way you could use even a pi zero 2W

We are still processing a lot of data on the UART/usb interfaces and I would guess running it at anything less than the rpi 5 will be a problem just because the shared XHCI controller on those previous boards(that was the reason about the KLDR-7, we may be in another case now) so getting the timing critical is important to us. Would be interesting if this could get back below that $500 line and even lower for us in other regions.

Simultaneously I would also propose the opposite. It will be cool if we could run OpenGolfSim on a rpi 5 16GB at the same time as openflight and output over the hdmi on-board. (I have one we can test with, just because the 8GB/4GB was on backorder when I got mine for the build)
