Wikipedia version compatibility

I found this tool works with the official Wikipedia versions but not with older ones. I'm not familiar with Wikipedia versioning and don't know how to check. The website I'm trying to scrape looks older — does Zimit support all wiki versions, including previous Web UI?

It should work but we can not give any garanty. What is exactly the problem? What are the steps to reproduce the problem?

Problem with mediawikis is that you generally do not want to ZIM all versions of the articles, so you have to fine tune a scope exclude regex. And you will not benefit from advanced features like we have with mwoffliner. Other than that, it should be fine. But we still recommend to use mwoffliner for mediawikis... except it comes with its own share of limitations (old mediawikis, ...)
