Feature Request: Global Document Management

Problem

Currently, file/document uploads are limited to the Invoice section. This restricts their usability and makes it difficult to manage files that belong to other entities (e.g., clients, projects, or payments).

Proposed Solution

Global Document Module

Introduce a new Documents section in the navigation bar.
All uploaded files should be accessible from this central view.
CRUD Functionality
Users can Create, Read, Update, Delete documents metadata.
Each document can be assigned to one of the following:
Client (e.g., signed contracts)
Invoice (e.g., handwritten notes)
Payment (e.g., transaction screenshots)
Quote (e.g., extra paper notes)
Project (e.g., drawing notes)

Index View (Grid/Table)

Common file formats like JPG, PNG, and PDF should be supported.

Easier file tracking and reuse.

Great idea.
And under Invoices, for example we also have the possibility to upload documents, so both the "General upload" and the "Invoice upload" would end up in the same place, correct?
