The title says it all, what's the difference?

Is the non-signed API using the old owner API, meaning it is going to be deprecated soon?

No, this library does not touch the owner API at all.

There are three types of vehicles, those that require signed commands, those that support signed commands, and those that do not support signed commands.

If you call the vehicles or products method, the value of the command_signing field tells you which category a vehicle is. Either "required", "allowed", or "off".

So for required, the signed class is required, for off the signed class cannot be used, for allowed you can use either.

Thanks for the answer! I was confused because Tesla's vehicle-command repo states that some vehicles are still using the owner API and some are transitioning to using the signed commands now, but that must be something different?
