Alphabetical ordering of Albums & Artists name

Ok, it might not be the best way to do this but I used Claude AI to patch the hiby_player binary to fix the alphabetical sorting of Albums and Artists.

Currently if an album or artist name starts with The it would be ordered under the letter T.
I let Claude patch the hiby_player binary and now the sorting is correct as shown in the image below.

1 I want to sort the tracks by newest added 'time added' but makes no difference what sort option I use it's always alphabetical, or an I missing something
2 the recently added option dissapeared when I reinstalled hiby

Hey @Jepl4r — your alphabetical sorting fix has been merged with the font modification and released as v1.1, available in the releases section. Also did some housekeeping — renamed the repo to hiby-mods to reflect the broader scope of the project, updated the README, and made sure you're properly credited. Let me know if you have any thoughts! Ps, nice work on the sorting fix.

Another thing I need to do is see if I can get Claude to add the other articles in the other languages and make sure that albums starting with numbers or symbols like # appear at the top of the list. Let me know what you think.

@Jepl4r how are you using AI for binary patching?

I havent looked that hard, but I havent really seen tools for doing that.

@Tartarus6 I basically took the decompiled code from Ghidra and the original binary, I threw them to Claude AI telling him what he had to do.
In this case I used the Opus 4.6 extended model and it successfully patched the binary at first try.

@noisetta Now the alphabetical sorting is complete, it works with articles from other languages and names starting with symbols are sorted at the top of the list.

Oh nice! Before i post it up as a new release can you clarify what's included in the .upt:

• Does it include the Unicode font support from v1.1, your updated sorting fix and your theme altogether ?
• Which base firmware did you build from?

We can also take the individual modified files (hiby_player binary and theme files) as a PR to the repo so we can build a clean v1.2 from our end that includes everything.

The firmware does not include your modified Unicode font, I built it from a clean .upt file.

I can make two separate PRs with an explanation of what was modified in the hiby_player binary and the theme files.
Not now tho as I'm going to sleep, I'll do it tomorrow.

No problem, two seperate PRs works. When you're ready, if you could include in each PR description a brief explanation of what was changed and how, that would be really helpful for documentation purposes. In the meantime I'll prepare the repo to receive them — I'll set up a themes/ directory and make sure the base is ready to incorporate both changes cleanly on top of v1.1.
