Copy-to-clipboard button not working

Hello,

Just got setup with a fresh shlink and shlink-web-client install. Both working great except a feature I plan to use all the time: the copy button!

My short links generate like a champ, but then when I go to copy the short links and paste in emails, the copy button won't copy?

I tried a few different browsers and just figure this has gotta be a "me thing" somewhere, but I'm not sure what that would be. Can you please assist?

The clipboard API requires secure context. The most likely reason for that to not work is that you are not serving Shlink Web Client with HTTPS.

Thank you! For future travelers, here's how I addressed this:

I was running the shlink Web server with Caddy:

sudo caddy file-server \
  --root /path/to/the/shlink-web-client_4.7.0_dist \
  --listen :8888

To get HTTPS enabled, in another sessionI ran Caddy with this caddyfile:

sudomain-I-setup-for-shlink-admin.mydomain.com {
    reverse_proxy http://127.0.0.1:8888
}
