Current behavior

Hello!

We are experiencing an issue where users are accidentally creating duplicate short URLs because the "Save" button on the creation form remains active while the API request is processing.

If the backend takes a few seconds to respond (for example, when AUTO_RESOLVE_TITLES is resolving a slow webpage), users think their click didn't register and click the "Save" button multiple times. This sends multiple POST requests and creates identical short links.

Actual Behavior:

The button remains clickable during the API call. Multiple requests are dispatched, resulting in duplicated short URLs.

Expected behavior

After the first click, the "Save" button should instantly become disabled and ideally show a loading spinner until the API returns a response. Only one short URL should be created.

Minimum steps to reproduce

Steps to Reproduce:

1. Go to the "Create short URL" page.

2. Fill in the long URL (preferably one that takes a few seconds to resolve the title).

3. Click the "Save" button 3-4 times rapidly.

4. Go to the "List short URLs" page.

The save button is in fact disabled when clicking save. I have just tested it and I was not able to reproduce this behaviour.

Can you confirm if you are using Shlink Web Client or Shlink Dashboard? And what specific version?

Can you also share a screen recording of the whole process where you reproduce this?
