unresponsive pConfig when adding new crosslinker

Dear plink-Team,

I have an issue regarding pConfig ("Meta Data Configuration") in pLink2 v. 2.3.11 with regard to adding new crosslinkers. I have added one new crosslinker already, though I accidentaly added a break in the name (saw later that this doesn't work).

However when I wanted to add a second x-linker, pConfig closes when I click "Linkers" tab without responding. How can I resolve this issue, and/of remove the crosslinker that I named wrong?

This is because pConfig (pLink’s metadata plugin) does not allow Spaces or special characters in the names and paths of the content. You have two options:

1. Uninstall and reinstall the pLink software.

2. In the pLink installation directory, find the .\bin\xlink.ini file, open it with a text editor (e.g. Notepad++), and delete the new linker you added. Remember to modify the total number of linkers at the beginning of the file.
