I wanted to install OpenVPN to a VPS server to remote-manage 100+ POS systems in pizzerias.
(200-300 client 🖥️ PCs + phones 📱 + boss-laptops, etc.)
I think I'm not the only one who likes more managing Linux-things from a web-gui than from terminal. 🤔
(Otherwise this great code would not be here 💯 )
I have found Webmin, and with that configuring and monitoring Debian 11 is easy cake. 🍰
After 2 days and nights learning about OpenVPN's "thousand switches" , found an old (2018) Webmin module made for OpenVPN here ... ... but luckily there is an enhanced v3.3 (2021) version too, which is designed for ovpn2.0 . Found it here ...
Watching this video about how to use this module helped me to finish configuring and starting a working server in just 10 minutes!
The only thing that's missing is ovpn-admin, so everything could work "out-of-the-box".
(And maybe an auto-firewall config system for it would be great too ... )
What do you think?
