These options are not working for me
-v ???
-exp is not working

But it is ok coeff and pol are more than enough

in the README

build/examples/periods -m 2 --pol 4 1 0 -2 3 0
is not correct or i am missing something

here 3 compatable easy examples

./periods --pol "x^5 -1" --prec 50
./periods --xn1 5 --prec 50
./periods -m 2 --coeffs 5 1 0 0 0 0 -1 --prec 50
of course they are equal.

Please if you have a more general f(x,y) in pari or arb make it available.

PS: I am doing Arithm. (AG) Solitons.

I have updated to flint 3.xx

In fact the underlying algorithm can deal with any polynomial (Z[x], Q[x], C[x]) since it only needs the roots.
The best option seems to switch the interface to the new gr_poly type, however I still have problems to convert things.

Yes, in the last month i digged inside your code and tried to switch to branch points instead of --pol.
It should work for any hyper/super curve over C[x] since their weierstrass pts are known.

You have done something magnificient. Do you know (Maple/Python RiemannSurface) is buggy even for genus 3 curve.
Now, in principle i can compute some g=100.... exactly and generate their solitons KdV.

Please, Update your code, you are very gifted with writting optimized code. Don't feel sad or depressed
if people will not understand and recognize imediatly your work.
