What is missing? Please describe.

For environments with a large number of dashboards or users using the Perses API as a proxy, the replicas configuration can already be set to handle high load. But there is no migration path for users using a file based storage in a StatefulSet wanting to move to a Deployment based backend with a database storage.

Describe alternatives you've considered.

Add a backup feature:

• A backup can be created from a Perses intance running in a StatefulSet
• Then a new Perses instance running in a Deployment can restore the backup
