Thank you so much for the kind words — and also for all the effort you've already put into the project! I really appreciate the competitive analysis, product ideas, and the improvements you've contributed so far.

Since you mentioned that you'd like to contribute more in the future, I wanted to ask: would you be interested in taking a more active role in maintaining and developing Markdown Reader going forward?

From your work on #208, it seems like you already have some thoughtful ideas about where the project could go, and I'd be very happy to have someone who is genuinely interested in the project help shape its future direction — not just through individual contributions, but potentially as a maintainer/co-maintainer as well.

There's absolutely no pressure or obligation, of course. If this is something you'd be interested in, I'd be happy to discuss what that could look like, including the roadmap, development priorities, and maintenance responsibilities.

Hi @ChickenisLegit, welcome! Your competitive analysis in #208 was really thoughtful, and it would be great to have you more involved. Happy to help however's useful as you get oriented.

@petertzy, note on my end: my notifications weren't set up correctly on this repo, so I missed a few threads over the past week. That's fixed now, so I'll be much more responsive going forward! Apologies for the quiet stretch. I'm still very much keen to keep helping with maintenance.

I'll open an issue later today with the list of pre-refactoring files to remove, per your note that they'd all served their purpose. And more hands on this would be appreciated, so I'd be glad to work alongside a co-maintainer if that's the direction you'd like to go.

No worries at all, and thanks for the update! I'm really glad to hear that you're still keen to stay involved with maintaining the project, and I really appreciate all the help and contributions you've made so far.

And yes, that's exactly what I had in mind — the idea is simply to have more people actively involved and share the maintenance and development work where possible. There's definitely plenty to work on, and having more hands would be a great help.

Thanks as well for taking care of the pre-refactoring cleanup issue. That sounds good.

For now, let's see what @ChickenisLegit thinks about the invitation. If they're interested in taking on a more active role, we can figure out together what that might look like and how best to coordinate going forward.
