As a user, when I run my pixieapp via the pixiegateway, sometimes the table/charts dont render (get blank)

I am running my pixieapp: http://169.55.231.153:32222/pixieapp/GitApp

Expected behavior

-Expect the table/graph to return data each time I click SUBMIT button.

Actual behavior

• If I choose options via my drop down, then SUBMIT , I get no results returned sometimes
  Once this happens, I have to choose a different choice in the drop down, and it seems to fix the problem.
• see the video (in box):
  You can see the graph returns data, then subsequent times it is EMPTY. This also happens with tables too.
  Seems like the "pd_refresh" command is not functioning properly
