GameCube games fail to start

I can't run any of the GameCube games. I get this message:

Can you check if dolphin is in the core plugin list in settings? If it is not, then the issue is that Xcode isn't including it in the package. I can fix that right away.

Dolphin's there, but it looks like the BIOS files are missing:

I found the dsp_coef.bin and dsp_rom.bin on the Internet, but where do I put them? Dragging them into the Bit window (as with the PSX BIOS files) doesn't work. I tried putting them in ~/Library/Application Support/Bit/BIOS, but both files get deleted upon Bit's launch.

You shouldn't need the bios files to run gamecube games (only useful if you want the boot up screen). To add the bios files you need the files like gc-ntsc-10.bin. Can you open the console app on your Mac and see if there are any crash reports related to OpenEmuHelperApp?

The Crash Reports section in Console is empty.

In console select your device and click start streaming. Restart Bit and try running a game. Then search for OpenEmuHelperApp and screenshot the messages you see.

Ahhh I think I know the issues. It's depending on a homebrew package which is installed on my system but not yours. Will fix this in the next release.

There is also an error below it that says core plugin has nil controller. Can you click on it and screenshot what it says

Most games (except NfS: Underground 2) start just fine now, although there's some weird crackling in the sound, and the framerate takes wild dips every now and then on my M3 Air with 16 GB of RAM. I haven't tried Dolphin, so I can't really say whether it suffers from similar issues.

The crackling sound is a known issue I will be looking into. What issues are you have with Need for Speed: Underground 2? Is it not starting or does it freeze at a certain point?

It doesn't start at all, just shows a black screen. I've tried two different versions downloaded from different sites.

is it a pal or ntsc game?
