Description
From community member Bruce Ishkoday:
"For a quick fix I would submit to consider changing the framing of the statement in this box. While it does suggest completing the famer and shepard quests would make one "qualified" for dao voter status it goes on to seemingly imply that to "claim your vote" one needs to complete the regen quest and by extension every task on the page. It is my understanding it is not required to complete regen to become a voter, rather that's a feather in the cap, but the statement does make it seem that one needs to complete it in order to become a voter. After all qualified is synonymous with eligible in specific contexts, which is not the same thing as aquired. People who are eligible to win an award have not won. I think this small statement may casue people to doubt they can finish the quests, which included myself until I asked around, because on boarding six node runners and an app dev is a very different skillset from writing educational content or helping people understand the tasks or responsibilities of community organization and dao voting. This seemly benign little box may be having the effect of reducing participation in the community path and the statement contained therin should in my estimate be reframed in a way the clarifies the difference between the above tasks and those below so people feel confident they can walk this path and achieve the goal."
