Description

After discussion on the ontology call last night
and
geneontology/go-ontology#31912

It is clear that the term that should be used to describe "small GTPases" is

G protein activity
Molecular Function

Definition (GO:0003925 GONUTS page)
A molecular function regulator that cycles between active GTP-bound and inactive GDP-bound states. In its active state, binds to a variety of effector proteins to regulate cellular processes. Intrinsic GTPase activity returns the G protein to its GDP-bound state. The return to the GDP-bound state can be accelerated by the action of a GTPase-activating protein (GAP). This allows the correct causal flow with only one entity.

I will switch them over.
