Hey @igalklebanov 👋 Good instinct — resizing itself works mechanically, but we found the bug that makes it feel broken: pinning or unpinning any column silently reset all column widths and custom column order, because the state-reset effect was keyed on an unstable memo that changed identity on every pin change. Fixed in #1552 with a regression test.

Two remaining observations we left open as product decisions: widths reset on remount (so per-table persistence never survives switching tables), and the 400px max width cap can itself read as broken for wide JSON/text columns. Also, the resize handle's effective hit area is only ~8px and missing it starts a drag-reorder — noted over on #1372.
