Presence status inconsistent and connect/disconnect loop after resuming from away status

Description

After leaving the messenger open and closing the laptop lid for a period of time (which triggers the "away" status), reopening the application shows inconsistent presence state. Additionally, the application enters a connect/disconnect loop that prevents messages from being sent.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Leave the messenger open.
2. Close the laptop lid for some time until the "away" status activates.
3. Return and reopen the application.

Expected Behaviour

Presence status should be consistent across the UI, and the application should reconnect normally, allowing messages to be sent.

Actual Behaviour

• The status indicator in the bottom left shows "online", while chat timelines still show the status as "away".
• The application becomes stuck in a repeating connect/disconnect cycle.
• Messages fail to send while in this state.
