Room requires manual rejoin from bookmarks after system resumes from standby

Description

After the system enters standby and the client reconnects, the previously joined room is not automatically rejoined. The room must be manually rejoined from the bookmarks.

Environment

• Browser: Firefox 152 (web version)

Steps to Reproduce

1. Join a room in Fluux Messenger in the browser.
2. Let the system go into standby.
3. Resume the system and allow the client to reconnect.

Expected Behaviour

The room should be automatically rejoined after reconnecting.

Actual Behaviour

The room is not rejoined automatically and must be manually rejoined from the bookmarks.

Additional Context

A workaround was identified via the client's bookmark settings. The "Auto Join on Connect" option, accessible through the Edit Bookmark context menu, was set to False. This prevented the channel from being joined automatically on connect.

Setting "Auto Join on Connect" to True results in the client joining the channel as expected. The nickname can also be adjusted from the same settings.

Given this, the question was raised whether the original report constitutes a bug or is primarily a usability issue, since the setting was not easily discoverable.
