Compiling IRX without entrypoint causes warning instead of error

just that, I made a typo and my IRX start was named __start instead of _start and that froze the program running the IRX

Went back to the logs and found this. thought it should be an error?

To avoid errors, it is enough to use -Werror when compiling. If I'm not wrong, it is already an included flag when compiling IRX modules in ps2sdk. What else would you like to do?
