Proposed Implementation Plan

After exploring openCSE, my understanding is that the platform primarily serves structured CSE notes and learning resources. Rather than building a generic chatbot, I would focus on making the AI assistant context-aware to the currently viewed subject/topic.

Phase 1: Requirement Analysis & Architecture

• Review the current content structure (subjects, topics, notes pages).
• Identify where topic metadata and learning content are stored.
• Determine the most suitable integration point for an AI assistant component.
• Design the feature so it can work with existing study material instead of acting as a completely standalone chatbot.

Phase 2: Context-Aware AI Assistant

Create a reusable AI Assistant component that can receive:

• Subject name
• Topic name
• Current page content

This would allow the assistant to generate responses specifically based on the material the student is studying.

Phase 3: Quick Action Features

Implement dedicated actions:

Explain Simply

• Convert complex concepts into beginner-friendly explanations.
• Generate examples and analogies where appropriate.

Generate MCQs

• Create multiple-choice questions directly from the topic content.
• Include correct answers and explanations.

Revision Notes

• Produce concise exam-focused notes.
• Highlight important formulas, definitions, and key points.

Viva / Interview Questions

• Generate commonly asked viva questions.
• Include short expected answers.

Summarization

• Produce quick topic summaries for last-minute revision.
