1.2.9 on LYWSD03MMC_B17

I was reading through the open issues with 1.2.9 on the LYWSD03MMC and was curious if anyone is running it on the B17 hardware revision without issue? I have around 10 of them that need to be updated but wanted to check first.

There shouldn't be a problem.

Update: There are no issues with the original Xiaomi BLE version 0.1.2.9 or ZigbeeTlc v0.1.2.9. All updates are performed via OTA Zigbee/BLE. You can always switch from Zigbee to BLE and back via OTA.

For the original Xiaomi BLE version 0.1.2.9:

There is an original firmware with a signature that reliably loads custom firmware.
Therefore, if the firmware doesn't flash via OTA after entering the MiHome keys, you should first flash the original version from the kit specified in TelinkMiFlasher.

Some B1.6's have problems, but not all.

Version 1.2.9 (BLE) is secured and requires MiHome keys.
Version 1.2.8 (BLE) is not secured and should work directly.

Got it. I'll need to flash back to the original firmware first then it looks like. Is there a way to revert back to it from Zigbee?

What's the point of returning the original firmware?
For Zigbee updates, there are Zigbee OTA firmware updates, as well as Zigbee to BLE conversions.

The confusion stems from Xiaomi's original BLE version 0.1.2.9.
This has nothing to do with Zigbee.
LYWSD03MMC HW: B1.7 is completely identical to HW: B2.0.

Sorry I misunderstood. I thought I would need the original firmware to get the MiHome keys first instead of just upgrading from ZigbeeTLc 1.2.8 > 1.2.9
