Building on Debian fails due to Cloudflare blocking

When trying to build on debian forky it's not possible to pass the FTDI library download step due to blocking by Cloudflare. I doubt there is a good solution to that issue apart from providing documentation on where to unpack downloaded files.

FTDI libraries are installed _automatically_ during the cmake configuration step when building from source.

This snippet from README doesn't work any more.

Could you add instructions on how to download the tarball manually so that cmake can find it? I'm expecting this to come back at some point as AI crawler blockers are getting more aggressive.

We've a link to the drivers in the README.md. The FTDI D2XX page explains the appropriate driver to be downloaded.

Also, we're reviewing possible solutions to make the driver available in our CMake and CI automation.

I've seen the README. My request is to explain how to decompress the driver files in the build directory so it's not required for cmake to download the file.
