Example data

Hi there!
I'm working on R packages for analysing movement data of many sorts (https://animovement.dev), and I would love to write a reader function for btrack! Would you be able to share some example output data? I saw there's some data in the tests folder, but wasn't sure whether it was input or output data.

Also, if you could accompany the data with a line about what the different variable/column names mean, that would be helpful. :-)

That's great, thanks! For the headers, there are a few I'm a bit unsure what they mean.

• parent I imagine is the ID of the cell it split from?
• generation I guess is the number of time the cell has undergone division in its history?
• And finally dummy, root and state I can't quite figure out.

ID	t	x	y	z	parent	root	state	generation	dummy	area	solidity	major_axis_length	orientation	minor_axis_length

Will btrack always return a file with these headers, or are some of the ones variable depending on what features the user wants to calculate? And does btrack always return tracks with a z coordinate, even when there is no depth in the tracking? This is more to know what to expect from incoming data, whether I should always expect z coordinates (and that it is 2D data when all z coordinates are 0).
