Hi there, I'll explain what's happening.

But first, your comment mentions "response to the SNMP request", and I want to be clear that Deceptifeed UDP servers do not send responses. The UDP servers log the data they receive, and nothing more. No UDP responses are ever sent back to clients.

So what's happening in your screenshot: Deceptifeed received some UDP packets and it's printing the data received in those packets. The SNMP protocol uses encoded data, so there really isn't human-readable data to print. Only the SNMP community string is encoded as a human-readable string ("sip" in your screenshot). All the question marks in your screenshot are bytes received that don't map to a printable character.

If you look at the log file, the hex values are logged for any non-printable bytes received. The web interface should be changed to display the data in the same way. If you're asking for Deceptifeed to decode and parse SNMP data, that's not planned.
