When I switch from one surface to another using the editor, sometimes my personal equipment and inventory disappear

One of the ways I use editor extensions is to build space platforms using my inventory instead of having to send up rockets. I make a new platform, then switch surface in the editor. Sometimes, when doing so, my personal equipment and inventory disappear, along with a message saying there's no room to insert it.

I'm on the latest version of factorio and I think the latest version of the mod.

Reproduction

1. Load save file
2. Verify you have personal equipment
3. type /editor in the console to view the editor
4. Switch to the Surfaces Tab
5. Click on the space platform
6. close the editor by typing /editor again
7. Notice the equipment is gone, along with the infinity bots and roboports and the rest of the inventory.

Ah, I know why this is happening... it's because you were in remote view when you switched.
