Lag/FPS drops

Unsure if this is directly related to #2 however in my own game experience everything is running fine and correctly but I tend to lag/get sharp drops in FPS quality, otherwise as of playing I have no issues with this mod.

I personally think you're doing amazing work by keeping this game alive for the few of us that still play it even after all these years. Your mod definitely has potential for those that want to create their own to further improve upon the game.

I get a similar problem, but it only happens when the height of the window reaches a certain size as shown in the video. The window can be made as wide as you want with no FPS penalty, but as soon as it's high enough it drops to single digit FPS.

The size of the level also affects this. For example, the FPS stays high in the University of Stick.
