Output of rest-server --version
rest-server version rest-server 0.14.0 compiled with go1.24.3 on linux/amd64
What should rest-server do differently? Which functionality do you think we should add?
I've found a systemd unit template to create a service, but I run an OpenRC-based system. I've written my own service file and it works. But since I'm just a home lab enthusiast, not a professional network engineer, I doubt that it came out as good and secure as provided systemd file. So I'd like to request an official OpenRC service template. I've searched through the issues, but haven't found anything like this.
What are you trying to do? What problem would this solve?
I'm trying to run rest-server on Alpine GNU/Linux. It super storage- and RAM-efficient. I use virtualization and try to use my resources as efficient as possible, since the next upgrade won't be soon with those prices.
Did rest-server help you today? Did it make you happy in any way?
Sure, it did. In fact, knowing that all my data is backed up fast and securely always warms my heart. Thank you for this awesome project!
