Problem Statement
LecturePulse collects valuable feedback but does not currently provide insights into participation rates relative to classroom attendance. Teachers cannot determine how many students attended versus how many actively engaged.
Proposed Solution
Introduce attendance tracking integrated with feedback analytics.
When joining a session, students can optionally provide:
- Name
- Roll Number
- Student ID
The system should track:
- Total attendance
- Total feedback submissions
- Participation percentage
- Active vs inactive attendees
Example:
Attendance: 60 Students
Submitted Feedback: 48 Students
Participation Rate: 80%
This helps instructors better evaluate overall classroom engagement.
Alternative Approaches
Feedback alone provides engagement data but lacks attendance context. Integrating attendance offers a more complete picture of classroom participation.
Affected Area
Mockups / Additional Context
Session Statistics
👥 Attendance: 60
📝 Feedback Submitted: 48
📈 Participation Rate: 80%
🎯 Active Engagement: High
