Where do I enter the WebSocket URL? (It currently says simulated because I haven't connected the boards yet, I want to figure this out first)

WebSocket URL Configuration

The WebSocket URL connects the browser UI to your aggregator/sensing server. Here's how to set it up:

If running the Rust sensing server locally:

The default WebSocket URL is:

ws://localhost:3000/ws

Start the server first:

cd rust-port/wifi-densepose-rs
cargo run -p wifi-densepose-sensing-server

If running the Desktop app (Tauri):

The Desktop app handles the connection internally. Use the Settings panel to configure:

• Data source: ESP32 USB or Network
• If Network: enter your aggregator IP

If using the hosted demo at ruvnet.github.io:

The hosted demo runs in simulated mode by default since it can't connect to your local ESP32. To use real data:

1. Run the sensing server locally: cargo run -p wifi-densepose-sensing-server
2. Open http://localhost:3000/ui/pose-fusion.html (NOT the GitHub Pages version)
3. The local version auto-connects to ws://localhost:3000/ws

In the UI:

Look for a connection settings icon (gear/cog) in the top bar or side panel. Enter:

ws://<YOUR_PC_IP>:3000/ws

If you're running everything on the same machine, use ws://localhost:3000/ws.

The "simulated" label will change to "connected" once the WebSocket handshake succeeds and real CSI data starts flowing.
