Error when using decklink

Hi,

I am trying to build with Decklink and NDI support and successfully build.

I am getting error when trying to run container using docker compose up.

Error: (HTTP code 500) server error - error gathering device information while adding custom device "/dev/blackmagic/io0": no such file or directory

Hi Fahad, you might need to adjust the line /dev/blackmagic/io0 to match the names of the Blackmagic device on your system. You could use ls /dev/blackmagic to find the list of device names on your host system.

I found that BlackMagic SDK and driver mentioned in both docker-compose and dockerfile, do I need to set decklink support to "true" in both file ?

The blackmagic device names are correct.

There is an issue with kernel header and needs to be corrected in dockerfile.

I am using Ubuntu 22.04 LTS jammy .

I had to manually install the linux kernel headers inside the docker container - but when you get that far it still reports a segmentation fault. :(

... and the segmentation fault was due to mounting the blackmagic hardware as a volume, not a device in docker-compose.yml. All working well now.
