Affinity v3 just stalls after a couple of minutes

Hi all!
Genuine question: Does this work for you?

For me, Affinity V3 just stalls arbitrarily after a couple of things I do.

My PC is a desktop with AMD GPU, 32 GB RAM. I tried the script installer and the AppImage. I tried it under EndeavourOS (Gnome 49) (equal to Arch for that matter) and recently switched to Fedora 43 (Gnome 49) and now to Fedora 44_beta (Gnome 50).
I tried Wine 10 and now Wine 11, I tried ticking the OpenCL box or not (the app won't start at all when not ticking that one).

It just locks up, the Window freezes while the rest of Gnome and the apps still run.

When I dual-boot to Win11, the Affinity App runs fine (but obviously, I do not want to cross-boot every time and transfer my files and templates and base art to an NTFS drive....).

Is there any setting I could try to make this work?
