Description
Motivation
My workflow in Orion notes consists of using the fountain pen normally, then utilizing the specific shape tool (not shape recognition) to place, arrange, resize, and re-color the shapes. Saber currently only has a shape recognition tool. While I like that i can draw a shape and it will appear, it would be nice to have a dedicated tool for shapes. Furthermore, I like to have shapes with fill that can be transparent so I can use them has a type of highlighter. I also use my notes to create block diagrams, and to do this effectively i use auto alignment tools.
Solution
Id like to see an implementation of a separate shape tool that will allow the placement of shapes from a library, such as rectangles, circles, triangles, stars, arrows, and so on. These shapes should have the ability to edit their line color and their fill color/transparency. These shapes should also have the ability to change the line type such as full, dotted, and dashed. When selecting shapes using the selection tool, there should be the ability to resize these shapes. Lastly, there should be an option to snap to alignment with other shapes on the canvas.
